Sagayan is a primary dance of the Maguindanaon, performed by men recalling the heroic exploits of the Maguindanaon mythological hero prince Bantugan in an epic called "Dalangen". This dance is predominantly and traditionally male and it is a rare chance to see a girl dance it.
