A photo taken in February 2020 of Laika, age 9, resting after performing Sagayan in Cotabato City, Mindanao. Sagayan is a primary dance of the Maguindanaon, performed by men recalling the heroic exploits of the Maguindanaon mythological hero prince Bantugan in an epic called "Dalangen". This dance is predominantly and traditionally male and it is a rare chance to see a girl dance it. This moment was taken using an analog camera and developed in the Philippines by Sunny16Lab in Quezon City. Printed by In Hiatus Studios in San Francisco, California, USA. Proceeds from this print will be donated to Sabokahan or a specific indigenous community in the Philippines.
